"Leading up to our pandemic wedding, Alison was incredibly accommodating and willing to roll with the constantly shifting plans as guidelines and protocols evolved. Her creativity ensured we got fantastic shots, while maintaining physical distancing. She gave us such helpful suggestions ( what to do with our hands, where to put the flowers, how to stand, where to look) which made things so much quicker and more efficient so that we could optimize our time with our guests. We're so glad we booked Alison to photograph our wedding. Since we don't live in Huron County, it was important for us to choose a local photographer who has a good eye for the landscape - and Alison was just that. It was wonderful having Alison as our photographer on our wedding day. She came prepared with little touches, like a lovely "Mrs" hanger for my dress, that I simply wouldn't have thought of in the busy days leading up to the wedding. We had tons of gorgeous shots to choose from and she found beautiful settings around our ceremony/location site that we never would have found ourselves. With neither of us being from the area but knowing that we wanted to get married at Benmiller, we were hopeful that all of our vendors (with the exception of 1) were from the area. The minute we met Alison, we knew she was the photographer for us. We had met others, but no one came close. Not only did she understand what we wanted, she helped us with other vendors and could see exactly what we wanted. She was super helpful with every aspect of our wedding, not just the photography. When our "winter" wedding was melted away with an unseasonably warm spell in February and more rain then anyone could have anticipated, she came through with different locations and ideas as we walked around the property in the rain looking for the snowy parts.
